Hello beautiful human beings! Do you ever wonder what you can do with though roses from that bouquet you got? Or the ones from your yard? Well today I have just the thing you can do with though rose petals, an amazing rose petal sugar scrub I came up with. It is super easy to make and feel fabulous on your body. There are no chemicals added and you can eat everything that you put into this scrub.
What you will need:
  • Roughly 20 dried and/or fresh rose petals (I used both)
  • 1.5 cups of brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp of oatmeal
  • 1 cup of hazelnut oil (you can also use olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, etc.)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Jar (I reused an old tomato sauce jar)
Directions:
  • Wash your hands
  • I recommend breaking up most of the rose petals into the bowl
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl
  • Mix well with your hands! You're going to put it on your body anyways so what's the harm in mixing it up with you powerful hands? If you are having troubles or feel you are not mixing it well enough use a cake beater
  • After well mixed add to your jar
  • Use during your next bathing session
There you go! A super simple recipe for some self love or a thoughtful gift for someone you care about. Buying these ingredients will help reduce your carbon footprint. If composting isn't available to you, using the rose petals in this recipe helps save them from adding to our ever-growing landfills. Remember everything we do impacts ourselves and the world around us. Lets take steps to have a cleaner, healthier planet.
